IMove is where we are "cultivating" the ideas that have been growing in the minds of my students. I've climbed over that fence and I've taken my students with me. Just like Peter Rabbit, he wanted something more, and so do I. But it's place where we are "harvesting" what my students know. Take a look at the very first iMovie my students created. If you have patience, fortitude, and a few volunteers it's worth it. Collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking become essential and meaningful. They own what they are doing because they can see and hear what they know. They are motivated to do a better job because someone is watching. Students can evalute their own work after they watch the movies they create. iMovie gives students a real audience, and they realize their message matters. It takes dedication, and help from willing volunteers with incredible patience. iMovie looks good, sounds good, and can be done in kindergarten. I have found answers to parts of those questions. What business would kindergarten kids have posting their ideas online? What would parents think? What would it look like? How would we do it? She also allows any vendor you choose - but also provides a list of recommended vendors (which really helps!). ![]() When looking at the venue during the day it can be hard to imagine what it will look like decorated - but the barn really comes alive at night with the lights and decor you add. The Round Barn has embraced its rustic charm in a way that others do not. The venue is also so unique! Barns are so popular at the moment, but many look the same.
